What to Bring, Wear, and Expect
- Wear comfortable (but not too baggy) workout clothes that allow you to move
◦ Such as yoga pants, t-shirts, and tank tops
- Do not wear jeans, belts, excessive jewelry, or other items that will restrict your movement
- It is a good idea to bring your own mat for health reasons
- Bring a water bottle
- Please leave your cellphone or other electronic devices at home or in your bag so as not to disturb the peacefulness of the studio
- Do not eat for two to three hours before class. Practicing yoga on a full stomach may result in cramps, nausea, or vomiting
- Introduce yourself to your instructor and advise them of any injuries you have
